Seeing Better

"First we will give your eye drops with a typical anesthetise..."

Ok!

"Then we will administer a mild sedation..."

Fine!

"....after we insert the eyelid guard to secure your eyelid from blinks..."

What else?

"You may experience some mild discomfort," the surgeon continued. "The procedure shouldn't take more than 15 to 20 minutes till it is all been done. But don't worry; you will be awake through the entire time."

Mild Discomfort? Awake the entire time, would you mind just put me to sleep please?

“We cannot knock you off, we need you to be with us all the time,” the surgeon was smiling while he was talking.

"Have you had any question before we go further?"

I wiggled my head to say no, but in the back of my mind there a voice said please make it quick, as quick as you can…

It’s been two months since I underwent for laser eye treatment, everything went well and the healing time only took me two days. My appointment was on Friday and I backed to work on the followed Monday, apart from the first four hours after the surgery, I’d say it was brilliant. As of within those four hours, I was advice to go to sleep after arrived home as it was the best solution to be pain-free.

I was getting frustrated with my contact lenses drying up whilst using my computer in the office; also it was inconvenience when I rode my motorbike on a daily basis. In the end, I decided to go for FREE consultations to see whether or not I am suitable for the treatment. After I knew and qualified for laser eye treatment as well as I had done price comparisons and day searched, I finally put my foot down to agree in going ahead.

“I can see things again clearly that I never thought I would”

After 22 years of wearing spectacles it is a fantastic feeling to be without them. I was nervous before surgery, I should not have worried, the staffs were fantastic, very professional and everything went so smoothly. I can now see things I couldn’t see with my spectacles and I have been told I look younger!
